SAPXI is a server which runs on two stacks: one j2ee and the other abap.There is nothing like deployment unless and until you create modules to give additional functionalities to the existing adapters.All the design and configurations are done on the server and accessed by the clients by means of java web start.All the interfcaes tht you make resides in the server which can be exported.
