and when I select particular database, data from that database should be viewed.

In Short I want parameter for database selection.

Note:I can login to any company, but when I run it should prompt me for different database.

Please Help....

Hi Gayathri Shukla,

If you want to fetch the Data from Multiple DB's in  Crystal Report then try using sub reports for each DB and try using the Advanced Settings Feature in Report & Layout Manager in SBO.There you can assign DB's to each sub Report.

Report & Layout Manager-->Select the Report-->Click on Advanced-->Assign the Server & DB for each sub report

(Note : This feature is available from 8.82 PL5 onwards)

Hope Helpful,

Vamsi.

Hi Gayathri,

Do you want to fetch the same type of data from multiple databases ? or

Do you want to compare the results across multiple databases.?

If you want to compare the Output across Databases then build a separate report for each DB and then include those reports as a Sub Reports in Main Report.

It is just as same as normal sub report concept but you can  specify from which DB's data needs to be fetched in the Report & Layout Manager->Advanced.
