i am new to SAP. Are the patches for SAP GUI640 for windows cumulative? or shall i download all patches from start?

They are cumulative.

Hi,
You can just start the executable.
But before this please check the level of your sapsetup program.
Maybe you have to download and install the patch for the sapsetup program (SETUP640_20-10001615) first...
