If quota is obsolete then we have to remove it from Selection rule?

Dear All,

I am little bit confused that If there is one quota type 08 which we started generating from 01.01.2012 and it is going to obsolete from 31.12.2012 (bcz of some business requirement). So my query is:-

1) what should be the start date in table V_T556A 01.01.1900 or 01.01.2012 and if this quota is going to obsolete then we have to delimit it as well in this table?

2) what should be the start date in table V_556R_B (deduction rule) 01.01.1900 or 01.01.2012 and if this quota is going to obsolete then we have to delimit it as well in this table?

3) Now in table V_T559L Should I delete the quota 08 from selection rule and what would be the start date and end date of all tabs like Quota type and base entitlement?

Actually I am worried because it is live issue and I don't know what would be the result if I will change the date of this quota. So kindly provide your valuable inputs so that I can close this issue.

Best Regards,

Apoorwa

Yes   You have to delimit the Quota  In V_T556A as it is should not applicable in PA30 for the employees  Respectively , Deduction Rule , Validity Rule , Selection rule shd also get delimited  Validity of the Quota also shd be checked thoroughly , what is the business requirement in case of balance of the year 2012

Sikinder,

Would it be worth considering if the deduction etc rules are being used elsewhere?
