SAP HANA Modeler error when activating Analytic view

Hello SAP HANA Friends:

Can you provide any guidance on this error I received when attempting to activate an analytic view in the SAP HANA Modeler.

This analytic view validated completely successfully.

Error message when attempting to redeploy an analytic view in the SAP HANA Modeler:

Repository: Activation failed for for at least one object; At least one runtime reported an error during revalidation. Please see Check Results for details.

Internal deployment of object failed; Repository: Encountered an error in repository runtime extension; Internal Error exception 1: no9500000 (mdx/metadata/deployment/join/JoinManager.ccp:402)n An internal error occurred. Assertion failed with error message.

Hi Joseph,

I faced a similar issue yesterday, when few of my Analytic views built prior to SP05 upgrade could not be redeloyed. I tried to activate the Attribute views in the Analytic view, but each of them gave an error that some of the Analytic view (back from the first list) could not be redeployed. It was like circular reference issue. I anyway went and tried to redeploy each Attribute view / Analytic view and finally came to the very first view which I was interested in.

Second attempt to redeploy the view (after trying to redeploy all the attrib views) was successful.

I did not understand that why HANA was trying to activate all the associated views when I tried to activate Attrib / Analytic view. This could be a setting in the modeler which I will anyway check soon. Since it was Friday evening, I did not focus much on that.

You can try this longer workaround and let us know.
