Dear Vishali:

In the aplication server and the SAP HANA DB server you may have diferences on the time zones.

on the SAP HANA server with the root user see the time zone with the command "date", next enter with SAP HANA´S <SID>adm, and command "date", next enter on the aplication server of BW and do the same with the users.

if the Time  for the root user and the <SID>adm users are diferent you can fix it:

stop hana (HDB stop) and BW (stopsap) as <SID>adm.

On SAP HANA DB and Aplication server go to:

/usr/sap/<SID>/home take a save copy and modify the files:

.sapenv.csh (Search the value "setenv TZ UTC", delete or comment with "#" and SAVE)

.sapenv.sh (Search the value "export TZ UTC", delete or comment with "#" and SAVE)

Logout, Re-login with the <SID>adm user on HANA server and send command "date" and you see the root and <SID>adm have the same timezone, do the same on APP Server.

for default SAP HANA DB install the user with the time zone UTC.

Next step is start HANA (HDB stop), start BW (startsap).

And continue the installation.

Hello Vishali,

this error message is very user friendly. Did you follow the instructions SAP provides?

1. Open a SAPGUI connection to this system.

2. Try to log on as user DDIC with your chosen (master) password or DDIC default password "19920607".

Regards,

Mark
