Order Type wise COGS GL determination during PGI

Dear Experts,

Please help me come out of this issue.. i don't find any thread for this.

My client is having domestic sales and export for finished material every thing is running fine.

Even they have sample order and Free of charge order type , their requirement is when they will create Sales order for ZFOC order type for finished material  while PGI system should not fetch COGS account it should fetch different COGS GL which should be only for Free Of Charge Cost  for the same material materail.

Please advise how it is possible.

Hi,

The order type should determine  new item category and schedule line category .

Maintain configurations so that that order type determines new item category and schedule line category.

Create a new movement type (copy of 601) and assign it to new schedule line category.

Ask your MM consultant to maintain different G/L  based on new movement type.

Please test and revert.
