Dear Experts,
in the project builder I cannot see the documents that are attached with the services for object.
Is there a possibility to mark a wbs (whith an icon), when one ore more documents are attached?
The attachment list is not really helpful.
Thanks & Regards
Edgar
Edgar,
Services for Object is a generic database tool for storing information and documents. It should not be used as a replacement for a document management system. The attachments are stored in the database and if used extensively will cause performance problems.
Using the SAP DMS system is a better large scale solution. The DIRs (document information records) can be linked to WBS elements and Networks. The DMS system is very robust.

Hi Edgar,
My client also want to have an identification of the WBS elements / Activities which have attachments..
Did you find any report / option which would mark the PS objects which have attachments?
thank you

Hi Edgar,
You can assign documents to your project on the internet via Service CNW4.
When you use this functionality, following activities are performed.
All of the documents pertaining to your project are displayed in an overview. It does not matter whether the link was created in R/3 or using Documents@web.

HI Edgar,
If i right understand your query as two documents are belong to same doc type then not possible with wbs or activity object.
2nd case two or more documents are belong to different doc type then you can add or link with one wbs only.

Sanjeev
