How to delete / update existing PO confirmations

Hi,

I want to add, update and delete confirmations on purchase orders programmatically.

I am able to use an ORDRSP idoc to add the confirmations to a PO.

I found FM ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE for updating the EKES entries (i would like to avoid the usage of this FM as this is not a released BAPI and does a straight update to the tables). The PO BAPI doesn't support additions/updates/deletion of confirmations.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone is able to share their experience in this. I have a bad feeling that the deleting the confirmations may be a challenge.
