Values of accrual based condition types not flowing to COPA

Hello Experts,

We have created 4 condition types marked as accruals, but their values are not flowing to COPA. Folloing are the config details for them:

1. Condition class : Discount or discharge

2. Calulation type: Quantity

3. Maintained in T code KE4I with +/- indicator.

4. Also checked another thread where suggestion was given for mainatining in KE4W. Tried that but it did not work 😞

When I remove the accrual tick mark from condition types then the values DO flow to COPA, so definitely it has to do with accrual configuration.

Since I am new to COPA hence want to understand whether any additional configuration is required for accrual condition types? Have spent a lot of time on it but not able to figure out.

Thanks in Advance

Bhavana

Hi Bhavana

When you tick the accrual indicator, whats the accounting entry?? It hits a balance sheet account, I guess.. Hence, might not be updating to COPA...

Check your acc entry when you unticked it.. It might be hitting a P&L Account

Hi Ajay, Thanks.

The accounting entry with accrual indicator ticked is

Dr Cost Account (P&L) to Accrued Warehouse costs( Balance sheet account).

That is how the entry should be right?

Also I forgot to mention that I changed the category of cost element of P&L account from 1 to 12. But still does not work.

Please suggest wat else can be checked.

Bhavana.

Hi

Whats the entry posted with and without the accrual indicator and whats the cost object posted in the entry??

I used accrual condition once for updating COGS at the time of invoicing, instead of PGI.. It very much updated to COPA at the time of invoicing... Am wondering whats wrong in your case
