Transportation of RFC/BAPI from DEV to PRD

Dear All,

I have imported many RFC's from DEV ECC to DEV PI. My question is,do I transport the same RFC's to PI PRD? or again do I import from ECC PRD to PI PRD? How to transport RFC,s from PI DEV environment to PI PRD environment?

Hi,

Transport the Objects developed in DEV PI to PRD PI...

No need to import them again in each environments of your landscape...

Hi Ashok,

Yes you have to transport the same RFC to Quality then production .

You don't need to do import  again in other system.

If you are using CTS transport then simply select the RFC in your object list.

I think this this will clear your doubt .

Hello Ashok,

It will work both ways, if you are not importing the RFC's from IR, import Design part into PRD but make sure that the RFC's are existing (imported) there in ECC PRD.

Safer side, always import the RFC's manually from ECC PRD if you have an authorization.
