BPC 10 Multiple Delta Load

Former Member

Dear all,

I'm testing the creation of a Delta Initialization with many packages, the same ones that my Run Package Link have. When I create the first package in the Delta Init It work good but when I try to create the second package a message is displayed: "Selection overlaps with delta initialization "Name of my 1st Package".

All packages should have the same InfoProvider due different ratios need to be populated.

But it looks like I cannot create many packages with the same InfoProvider, If I try to assign another InfoProvider any error message is displayed.

Do you know why this happen? Do you know some other approach in order to have my delta loading working good?

Thanks a lot for your help & Best Regards!!

Zaire

Hi Zaire,

Can't you put multiple selections in one Package?

Hi Gersh,

I think I know what option you say: I should look and select my transformation file, then clic save, give a name and save with .esf extension? Right?

Another question about this feature: My first load will be with the Delta Initialization, and the next ones should be with the same feature or with Run Package Link?

Could you please explain me how should this work?

I really appreciate your help!! Thanks a lot for your time!

Best Regards,

Zaire

Hi Zaire,

No, you read my mind incorrectly this time:).

What I had in mind is to set up all your data regions in one selection for initialization. Then you need just run deltas and it will bring all your changes.

Please let me know if I misunderstood your requirements.
