Server Intelligence Agent(SIA) was not available after BO 4.0 Installation

Hi Folks,

We are upgrading BO from 3.1 to 4.0.  We have installed as below

1. Created the two database CMC & AUD

2. And configured two names in ODBC

3. We started the installation "SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.0 SP04 (incl. FP03) SERVER WIN 64B" as per guide.

The installation was sucessfull. But we are not able to find the "Server Intelligence Agent(SIA)" In the CCM.

This delays the Incremental upgrade from the upgrade tool.

Could you please help me on this.

can you go ahead and add the SIA  manually in ccm and try to check, I am sure it should come up,

Hi Rajkiran,

Thanks we added SIA manually., Tomcat & SIA are running fine. But when im trying to login into CMC im getting  error    " An error has occurred:java.lang.NullPointerException".

This error was came after given the login credentials.

Kindly help us resolve this issue

Kindly check your JRE version and the Java Class path whether it is set properly

can you check if your able to logon to Client tools using your crendentials. if yes, it could be issue with application server.

Most probably you might need redeploy the war files...

Also check if your able to login to InfoView ?

We have undeployed the Tomcat & Deployed again. It works fine
