data displayed in PSA but not in cube.

hi guys,

i'm loading data into the info cube from 2LIS_13_VDITM,

there r around 200 records and data is displayed in PSA but it is not visible in cube.the status of the load request is in RED colour.

it is showing some error in <b>Transfer rules</b>.

i'm getting the error message as

" <b>info object 0RT_PROMO does not contain alpa-conforming value 100000010</b> ".

plz give me some advice regarding this.

Hi Loknath,

Delete the request from the cube. Go to the transfer rules and check the check-box for the transfer rules for the info-object 0RT_PROMO. Then reload the data from the PSA to Cube. It should go through fine.

hi dinesh i've got thru that and data is loading into the cube .

thanx for u'r valuable advice.

plz there is another problem,the <b>reporting icon</b> in the <b>request tab</b> is highlighted but i'm not able to genertate any query from that loaded data.

can u tell me the possibele solution.

Hi Loknath,

In that case you need to check why no records are getting added to your cube. Check whether both the transfer and the update rules are fine. Also check whether the info-objects in both the rules are mapped properly.

Once you have done that then delete all the cube and reload the data and check again.

Hi,

Looks like you have a problem with your update rules. In the monitor for any of the requests, got to the details tab and to the data packets --> processing update rules and check the number of records read versus the number of records added. If the added records are zero, you may have to revisit the update rules. Also check if there is a start routine that is dropping the data.

By the way did you activate the process keys in the source system. Many of the standard update rules refer to these.

In the R/3 system transaction MCB_ - Determine industry sector + MCB0 Maintain transaction for BW transfer.

Activate these and reload the data. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Loknath,

I would not be able to chat on yahoo at the moment.

Can you check how many records have got updated in your cube. You can check this in Manage -> See the transfered records and added records column. Possibly there were no records added to the cube.

Also check is there are any records in your F fact table. You can check that using /BI0/F<technical name of the cube>.

i've checkes that there r some records for 3 inf sources around transfered 150 records,but <b>no added records</b>.

there is no records present in the <b>fact table</b> also.

do i have to load the data once again.

Hi Loknath,

Do you still have some "red" requests in the cube then delete them. Also make sure you are giving the correct selections for the data to be pulled through. Also check whether you are getting data in the 'listcube" transaction.

Do you have aggregates on the Cube. If so then deactivate and activate them.

hi dinesh,

i've refreshed the aggregates and check for data in list cube also i'm not getting any data there what could be the problem.i've not used any selections for pulling data.

all the request r in "green" color some request do not contain data also.

how to show the data in the reporting ,

plz that is my ultimate problem to display data in reports.

i'm almost solving all the problems from u'r advices plz help me thru.

also if u have u'r yahoo id that would be very easy to communicate bw us.

Hi Loknath,

In the Bex, Click the create button and check if you find your cube there. You would find the cube only in the "create" section when you create the first query for your Info-provider.

hi dinesh,

i've done what u said ,but still the problem persists,

actually i've loaded data from 5 info sources out of 5, 3 has successfully loaded and showing the no of records present in the cube.

every thing is fine. i've created a new query from the info cube but still it is saying

<b>"NO Applicable data found"</b>

Hi,

Use function module CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT in the transfer rule for this infoobject in the infosource 2LIS_13_VDITM. And then load data to the cube.
