textedit - protecting a range of lines

When using the textedit UI element, does anyone know if there is a way to protect a range of lines, so that they cannot be overwitten. So, for example, within the one UI element we could have the first few lines as read only and the rest of the lines available to type in.

Hi Malcolm,

The readOnly property applies to the whole UI element so you will need to do this with two UI elements, one which is editable and another which is not.
