My client requires time data as actual hours and overtime hours and not simply as clock in and clock out hours. I require help in understanding how to calculate overtime hours without running time evaluation if we have time in and time out data.
Thank u in advance for the inputs.

You can directly record overtime in 2005 or 2002 if you are not using Rptime00
and then use this payroll to compensate the employees.

Hi,
You can maintain it in infotype IT 2002 or else you can do it in IT 2005.

Hi there,
You will need to use time evaluation if you wish to calculate overtime for hours falling outside of either clock-in clock-out or deviations from planned working time (from work schedule).
Your alternative is to upload overtime into IT2010 but you will have to know what hours to pay.
