Error occurred when opening db connection

Hi Experts,

We have installed an SAP Hana System(HANA 1.0 SPS5) with an SAP LT Replication server(DMIS 2011 SP2-3) and SAP source system(DMIS 2011 SP1-3).

The system hosting the SAP LT Replication Server is an SAP system with SAP NetWeaver 7.02 (Basis Support Package 11) ABAP stack using SAP Kernel 7.20 EXT(64BIT Unicode) and  patch level is 400.

we have successfully connected SAP LT Replication server and SAP source system through RFC.But whenever we create a new configuration schema for connecting SAP Hana System and SAP LT Replication server: the dynpro dialog raises an error:

Error occurred when opening db connection

Insertion of DBCON entry failed

The RFC destinations working fine.

Please help us on this. Thanks in advance.

FYR:You can download SAP Hana installation guide from the SAP Service Marketplace at the Internet address:

    Hi Keerthan,

As far as I understand, this topic is related to SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT).

Therefore I would recommend to post it on its specific community site: http://scn.sap.com/community/replication-server.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Andrea

      Hi Keerthan,

      1) In your screen shot it showing that No of data transfer jobs is 10 please check the 10 background JOBS are free in the replication server

      2) Please check the port 30015 opened from Replication server to HANA Database

      3) Please check the HANA-Client is installed successfully in the replication server

      4) Please chec the table dbcon in transaction SM30 all the entries made correctly with SAP Note Note 1597627 - SAP HANA connection

      Thanks & Regards
