Hello,
I'm getting a strange error when trying to cancel or suspend any of the running BPM processes, from the NWA.
I first select any of the running processes, and then, in the actions dropdown I select either "cancel" or "suspend". This causes the following error:
If I go to "see Logs", I only get this error:
Retrieval of User data in 'Manage Process' has failed in Suspend method.Contact Support[Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@76ca171f
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? We are on 7.31, in a clustered environment with 2 nodes.
Thanks!
Hi, Any chance that process references a user id that has been deleted? If so, you might need to recreate it to see if that fixes the problem.
If it's not that it could also be a cluster issue as there have been a few of these that have been fixed or remediated.... e.g. if different parts of the process are sitting on different clusters. In which case check the SAP Notes related to keywords BPM and Cluster, and if you still can't find it, submit a SAP Message via service.sap.com/support if you haven't already done so.
Rgds,
Jocelyn

From the text in error " Retrieval of user data .... " the error looks to be related to cluster issue where process data is on cluster node which couldnt be reached..
However, please post detail stack trace. Also check in stack trace if you find any entry of "Cluster node" or "storage group".
