Hi ALL,
I have lot of short dumps in ST22 please explain me how to identify which short dump is related to which process chain failure.Is there any standard way to find it out or just by matching laod failures timings we need to identify? I am even not able to find any identical message in short dumps to relate with my failed process chain .Please help.

Hi Asim,
there is a table which stores short dumps, table name is SNAP,
pls look into that, helpful info you may get with available fields in tht table.

If this short dump is for a specific InfoPackage load you can goto monitor there in goto menu you can see short dump and from there you can jump to that load's short dump

Go to ST22----> select the runtime error which you want to know and double click on that you can find the program,screen no and also in which line your code is terminated with include program.

You can check User and Transaction page in ST22 runtime error and Inforamation where it is terminated.
Plz check given eg.

Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRSS1" - in "SAVE_IPAK".
The main program was "RSAWBN_START ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 46
of the (Include) program "LRSS1F23".

by know the at what time you job as scheduled/cancelled thru that we can. if at the same time short dump as occurs in multiple it will be difficult.
