Virtual Key Figure Doubt

Hi Guru,

I have a requirment like below,

I have a sales net value in my cube.Now my client wants to have a variable like he will give 10 , then one more key figure

should be populated as 10 * net value , if 20 then 20*net value.

I thought of going for Virtual KF but I have doubt , whether it will be possible to place a variable.

If anyone has any idea kindly let me know.

Hi Venky,

Do following as per your requirement:

Create one formula variable keep default value as Zero(0).

Then in local formula keep Formula variable * Net_value.

Dear KD,

Thats what I also tried,I achived the desired result.Though I didn't set the default value to zero.

If you don't mind can you let me know why we should keep a default value?
