Linking Membership with Transaction in Loyalty Management

Hi,

We are currently in process of implementing a loyalty management solution. As a part of the same, we are creating memberships for our members. As per one of the requirements, once the member decides to enroll for a membership and the general data (like membership type, member date etc.) is entered in the membership overview page of WebUI, we are expected to save the membership (by clicking 'Save'). Once Save happens it is expected that a Sales Order or Service Contract transaction linked to this membership be created.

We need help in knowing how can this be achieved, as currently on our CRM systems we do not see any transaction related activity once membership is save.

    Hi Prashanth,

You can use Enhancement Spot of ZLOY_MSH_MEMBERSHIP_SAVE accordingly. Actually we use the same logic that Once Save happens it is expected that a Sales Order transaction linked to this membership be created. And also we are updating the Card Validity Dates up to the our business requirements. All of these you should write down some ABAP codes via action profile.

    Hi Prashant Ojha,

I believe your requirement is to create a member activity. If yes, please refer this on how to create a member activity with code. Creation of member activity with Function module

If not, like you need to create a sales order while save, write the code for creation of sales order/service order in the BADI/event of that save of membership. But I feel strange why you need to create a sales order while saving a membership.

    Thanks,

    Faisal
