WIP posted after TECO status and during CO88

Hi Gurus,

The Production order was created on 03-12-2012 @ 09.34.25
TECO was done on 03-12-2012 @ 09.34.25 @ 09.47.37
At month end on 31-12-2012, while doing the CO88, the system has posted as below

81 530200 PRD Variance Offset 833.17
96 530100 Production Variance 833.17

50 530010 WIP Transfer 833.17

40 11510 WIP Panel 833.17

There is production variance and so the first two line items are fine.
My question is why the system has posted WIP during the CO88 execution.

Hi Rama

Your  question is why the system has posted WIP during the CO88 execution.

The Wip ( P&l and B/S) a/c entry will be hitting after settlement. You are run the wip (Kkax) at the time you system not post the any a/c entry.you are not reversal of wip entry.you are reverse the  settlement at the time wip automatically reversed...

further if any clarification go through the cost object controlling in spro path....

Can anybody help me with this....

After the TECO is done, system should post what ever the balance on the order to Variance, but why the system is posting WIP during settlement.?

Hi

If all status info is correct, pls check BOM components whether same BOM items count is picked in the order or not, if you have alternative BOMs and co-product scenario. BOM items count and order components should match.

Hi.....

You should check  inactive teco.

CO88 exclude production order which was inactive teco.

Hi Ramachandra,

In status screen, RESA status (WIP) is carried out on 4th Dec 2012. It means befoe TECO and month end closing some executed KKAO (WIP cumulative calculation).

So, again when you do CO88, based on the order status it calculated the varaince and reverse the WIP which were calculated eariler.

Hi Srinivas,

        Thanks for your reply.

In the first screen shot the document was posted with transaction code CO88 and the B/S account 11510 has been debited . This means that WIP has been created and not reversed.

Hi,

After TECO, you have directly run Variance. I think, if you run WIP once again after TECO, it may reverse.
