Remote Debugging

Hi All,

I need to enable remot debugging in NDS. It asks for a port when i try to create a configuration under "Remote Java Application".

How can i find the port for the remote vm.

Please let me know the possible ways.

Thanks for replying. But I am absolutely new to NDS. I am trying to set this for IPC development. Don't mind, can you please list out the steps to set this.

Hi,

when setting debug mode on a server node with the Config tool, there's a field showing the debug port to be used. Did you try using that port in your debug configuration in the NDS? Here's the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/39/7796e0a7be604ab63c2924045710a8/frameset.htm">documentation</a>, just for your reference.
