Business object - difference b/w attributes and key fields

Hi,

Can someone tell me the difference between attributes and key fields of a business object?

Please refrain from suggesting links. I want direct, precise and correct answer as response.

    Hi

    Let us take an example of Purchase order business process......

    this consists of lot of functionalities like changing the purchase orders based on requirements...

    Now let us consider the purchase order as business object.

    then it will identified by the key field i.e. purchase order number

    attributes are just like the properties of business object example-for any purchase order we have Purchasing group , Purchasing organization e.t.c are the attributes...
