Notification while booking on partner entity

Hi

Is there a possibilty to send out an email when values are booked to an entity? (e.g. email to entity owner).

I know that the entity owners receives an email when changing the work status, but i don't know how to change that status automatically (e.g. via script logic) or are there other possibilities to inform the entities?

    Hi Patrick,

    First of all, emails can be triggered only when something is done in BPF. Entry of data in an input form is not a BPF activity. However, completion of the step after entering data is an activity. Hence, an email can be triggered after the step is completed.

      Thanks for your reply.

      I found other e-mail functionalities like:

      - when changing BPF status

      - when changing work status

      - when running process chain

      but you're right i can not find a standard solution to solve my problem (sending mail when enter data).

      So the only solution at the moment to fix my problem is to implement an email function in a BAdI which will be started from DEFAULT.LGF (or in the write back BAdI).

      Other inputs are well welcome.
