Migrating SAP document attachments to new SAP Platform

The requirement is to retrieve  the attachments from a Legacy SAP system ( R3) to new SAP platform for Open Purchase orders, Open AR, Open Sales Order which are also migrated and attach them to the newly created ( rather Migrated ) POs , Open ARs, Open Sales Orders. Do we have any RFC enabled function module or any other way to retrieve the documents and create attchments through the ABAP program. Waiting for your valuable answers and will be rewarded.

Hi,

make a search on SCN, you will find a lot of discutions, the keywords are : GOS / Archivlink / Content Server ...

and have a look to the OSS note : Note 445057 - Relocating a repository
