Hi all,
I'm trying to send data from Business Conector to XI with the sender business conector adapter, but I don't know which are the steps I have to follow in both the Server and the Developer. Help, please!
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Roberto
Hi Roberto,
We use the HTTP adapter to connect to business connector and in turn BC sends messages back to the XI HTTP port. This way it is more universal and allows you to use SSL.

Hi!
About the answer of Johan, I don't know how can BC sends messages to the XI port. I was using the OutboundProcess, but it returns an error: <i>400: Bad Request</i>
About the answer of Michal, I set a rule like the help explains, but the created service don't have any import parameter.
Thanks to both of you!
Regards,
Roberto
Hi Roberto,
In your BC routing rule, you specify the the type as being XML and enter the URL, XI username and password to use. The URL needs to be formulated as described in the help you can find at: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/79973cc73af456e10000000a114084/content.htm

Hi Roberto,
to be able to send message from BC to XI you have to set two things:
set a routing rule in BC
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/18/ccb14035a5c64ee10000000a1550b0/content.htm
configure BC sender adapter in XI
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ed/319640c80b3528e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
As far as I remember you must have BC 4.7 version to
connect to XI using the BC adapter
