In LX26, what is the “Old PI (physical inventory) date based on?

If material stays “overdue” in LX26 without counting and eventually “drops-out” (goes past the “float date”) and is reset for the next cycle, is the Old PI date affected or does it stay the same until the cycle count is actually performed? (cleared?).

We have this question because when going into LS03N and viewing the “Inventory” tab, the last inventory date for that bin (cleared) doesn’t always match the “Old PI Date”, why would they be different?

Also if the inventory record is created and canceled, does that effect the “Old PI date” ?

By the way, we always select the “Stock putaway as invent. date” in LX26, does this appear (and as what?) in LS03N in the “Inventory” tab?

    Hi Martin,

The 'old PI date' in LX26 is the date on which the last PI is created, counted and cleared (not just created and counted) for the storage bin and this must be equal to the date shown in the inventory tab in LS03N. Can you please share the screen shot to figure out your issue.

Also, if the PI is created and cancelled this will not effect the 'old PI date' since you are not counting the results. But you can see the date of cancel in the inventory tab in LS03N.

    Regards

    Vijay
