Personnel Areas contained in roles.

Hi,

How can I customize Personnel areas, subareas and Company code in a particular Role..??

    Hi Varu,

    Authorization works through authorization objects. For yor scenario, you can use auhtorization object P_ORGIN-- Employee Master Data.

    but when you use P_ORGIN then you can restrict Authorization leavel, Personnel Area , Employee Group, Employee Sub Group, Infotype, subtype and organozational Key.

    You can map personnel sub area as organization key via config. but you can not make restriction for company code level.

    Use transaction PFCG to maintain authorization for particual Role.

    Look into Structural Authorizations through the IMG (t-code = spro)

    Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Tools > Authorization Management
