Basic list report in Portrait format

Hi,

I have one basic list report which when printed takes the landscape format.

I want to print it in portrait format on a4 size paper.

How should I go about this ?

Hi Nitin,

This depends on the number of lines and colums you have specified with the LINE-SIZE and LINE-COUNT parameters in the first line of your report.

For instance if you specify LINE-COUNT 65 and LINE-SIZE 132 page format X_65_132 will be triggered which is set to landscape format.

If you want a portrait output you should specify these parameters in a way that a portrait page format is selected.

Hi John,

Currently my line-size parameter is 105. If I change the line-size parameter to value less than this it will cut my display output.

Is not there any other solution to set the print layout of report ?

Hi Nitin,

Sure there is. However this requires you to define a custom page format (using transaction SPAD) which fits the 105 characters you require. As it is a custom page format you can define it as portrait.
