Complete Backup with DB13 failed (Runtime environment error)

Hi,

we got some problems with MaxDB Backup. SAP and DB is running on a Windows 2008 R2.

We install ERP 6.06 (NW 7.03) with MaxDB 7.9. During installation we used the master password with a lenght of 12 characters.

First error after installation was that we cannot use DB13 Planning Calender.

We fixed this issue with changing the DBM User password and Xusers. (See note: 1761717)

So we can use DB13 to plan our Backup jobs.

Now we got another problem.

When we start a complete backup with DB13, we got an error => See program log below.

We testet ...

- Connectiontest in DB59 is successful

- Backup direct from the dbmcli => successful

- Backup with DBStudio => successful

- Backup with DB13 (Update All Optimizer Statistics) => successful

- Backup with DB13 (Log Backup) => successful

- Backup with DB13 (Complete Backup) => failure

    Hello,

Please see SAP Note No. 1795639 < PTS 1242542 >

Please use DB studio to create the database backup.

      Hello Natalia,

thank you for the hint. Do not know why I couldn't find that note. But that is exactly the problem.

So I have to start backups using DBStudio until SAP release an update.

    Hi Lukas,

Could you restart your SAP application and database and then try to run backup using db13.

This will help in clearing the existing sessions.
