Text not appearing Language Dependent Master Data

Dear Experts,

We have custom Info object for which text is language dependent. We have loaded only English Text in it. When users run report in French or other language they see Keys instead of EnglishText. Please suggest what we need to do over here in order to show the English?

Do we need to disable language dependency in order to show text in English? Or do we need to load the same text for others languages also.

Hi Harjinder,

If u r loading text in English users log in with other language can't see the text. You can either load French text or ask user to log in into English.

If there is no other impact then making disable check-box for language dependent.

Thanks. There is also one more issue that we are facing. The Info Objects are displaying technical names rather then Description. Is it also because of the same issue?

Yes Harjinder,

This is because you have developed report when you logged in into system with EN langauge.

If you login to system with whatever language description should show and put all description again it will work.
