Hi all,
I have created a folder under /documents/MyFolder in Content Administration-->KM Content. I add some word documents. I created a crawler, Filters(result & scope). I created an index with the crawler and added the "MyFolder" to the data source and indexed it.
I have also set the Set Component Search. But when search for "doc1.doc" or "doc" I don't get any result. It only says "** document not found" always.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Janvi.

Hi Praveen,
It is working now. I did not do any changes but I find it takes a long time for Updated Queue changes to take place. Any suggestions on that.
I did check the TREX stuff everything is fine.

Janvi.

Hi Janvi,
In the Trex Monitor there is a link for Edit Queue Paramaters. In that there are properties called
1. Schedule Max Docs - Default value is 10000
2. Transmit Bulk Size - Default value is 10000
3. Synchronize Bulk Size - Default value is 10000
These three properties decide how many docs to pick up from the crawler and then transfer them to the Queue server and then to the index server.
Change them to a lower number say 50 or 100.
There is another property called - Schedule Time
Default value - All-0:30. change it to
All-0:15 or All-0:05
This property is an alternative to transfer the docs to the queue server and index server.
It first waits for the queue to be filled up with the given number of docs. If it doesn't find that many docs it then transmits every 15 or 30 minutes whatever set by you.

hi Janvi,
Do you have Trex Http Server Installed.
Portal, KM, Trex all should be at same 'SP' Level.
check System Admin --> Monitoring --> Trex Monitor
1. You should see green light on HTTP Server, Name Server, Index Server,Queue Server.
2. Try to re-index the index.
3. Else try to delete the index and re-create it.
4. Click on System Admin --> Monitoring --> Trex Monitor --> Display queues. When it has indexed all the documents then you should see the number in OK column.
5. Check whether the documents are available in folder.
6. for faster and efficient indexing, check document

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
