Hi iAll,
I have created a universe level filter with the following code
Code:
( (
Table.Date >=
@Prompt('Enter Registration Date(MM/DD/YYYY Format) or Select Application Default Date:','D','Flow report\Default Date',,,) ))
It worked fine until i have made changes to the Parameter file 'oracle.prm'
where i have set
'REVERSE_TABLE_WEIGHT' parameter to 'N' from 'Y'.
Now, it started throwing an error ORA-00932 inconsistant datatypes.
I have reverted the changes but still the error exists. Please help. None of the reports are working now. All date objects are throwing an error.
Can someone explain why and a solution to fix this.
Thanking you in advance.
Hi Poonam,
While trying to make these changes are you sure you have closed all BOE applications from your machine.
Reset this Parameter to same value "Y", open the designer, close it back and change the setting to "N" this time. and then again import the universe, save it and export it back.
If this doesn't help, copy the PRM file from some other machine or from your server machine.
Thanks,
Vivek

Hello Poonam,
Have you tried restarting your connection server? Before making changes have you had the back up of the prm file? I have seen inconsistent behaviors when making changes to the prm file.
Thanks,
Madhumitha
