Login issues to web dynpro abap application.

Hi,

We are facing an issue while testing the WDA applications. Whenever we try to test a WDA application, it takes us to the login page. When the userid and password are entered, validation happens and the same login page is displayed. If incorrect userid and password are entered, it gives an error saying that the login details are incorrect. Thus the login validation happens but it doesnt take us to the application screen when successful.

This issue happens only on one particular laptop and not on other laptops. On the same laptop, the issue exists for all the userid and for all the WDA applications. When the same userid are used on other laptop, login is successful and the WDA application screen is displayed.

Kindly suggest what can be the issues.

Regards,

Vikram Shah

    Hi Vikram,

it is obviously a problem with the laptop. You should compare the configuration of this laptop with the working ones.

    Also you can do is:

    - trying a different browser. IE, Firefox and also different versions.

    - comparing setting of browser with those who work fine.

    - reinstall your browser

    Regards

It's a cookie issue. For the security zone, cookies are not allowed. Also make sure you are using FQDNs in URLs, that way at least intranet (internal) zones will allow cookies.
