Datasource migration question

Hi experts,

Normally, we look to migrate datasources from 3.5 to 7.X. But me for some testing reasons I need the contrary

I would like to transform a 7.X datasource into a 3.5 one.

I tried with RSRD no way, I deleted the datasource and replicate again but it was replicated as 7.X one.

Does anybody knows how to perform my request?

HI,

Delete the datasource and reinstall from RSA5 and then replicate in BI.

This might work.

Hi Amine,

As my guess higher versions not possible convert to lower.

Low version functionality with some adjustments we can migrate  to higher.

But higher to lower i didn't seen . let see some experts replies...

if you data source have 3.x functionality, converted into 7.x, this one can convert to 3.x(just its guess, but how, no idea to me)

if your data source was released with 7.x version, then its not possible to convert 3.x.

Thank you for your reply. Actually i understood what was my mistake while installing and migrating my datasource first time. i choosed option without export...
