Suppose I have 3 ITS instances
1 wgate on physical host A
2 agate instances on physical host B
question 1
where would I install its admin instances?
question 2
what type of intstallation would the its admin instances be?
i.e. applicatoin side or web side (dual host) or single host.
Hello Jeremy
if you want to make use of all features of an ADM instance you would do a Dual Host installation.
- start on physical host B with an ADM AGate.
- make note of the /etc/services settings in regards to the sapavwmm_ADM and sapavw01_ADM ports and duplicate those settings on your WGate.
- install an ADM WGate on physical host A
If all AGate NT services are started with the same user your ITS admin instance should show the other two instances too.
regards, Gerd

When in the its admin website I am getting errors related to not being able to access files on the agate server.

Does it matter who installed the Agates, or can I just change the properties of the NT service?
Thanks
