Hello Experts
I have created one Z info object in Development Server and given some Transport request name and activated it ( quite some time ago so not rememberd the name or Id). Now I have a requirement where I have to use that Z info object to be transported to Quality and after that into Production system
My issue is , I am not able to locate the transport request assigned to that particular info object . I had spent quite long time find that request. Even by going the entire request ID’s in SE10/ SE09.
Please suggest me the best way. i.e creating new request id if possible the step to do that.
Thanks
Kumar
Hi,
If you know the zinfoobject name then search the same in RSA1 --Double click on it -on top menu select Extras---Object directory Entry---Infoobject--Lock overview.
This way you can find out under which request that particular object is locked.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
AL

Hi Sachin,
If you cannot find the TR, best is to create new one.
Since you mentioned is on InfoObject level, it should be quite straight forward.
You can re-collect it in T-code: RSA1, under Transport Connection.
Normally, you will need to go through the standard process which is Collect it in Dev, then transport it to QA and eventually PROD.
It depends on how you collect it, since you said IO Catalogue already in PROD, then you do not need to include that in your Transport any more.
When I said sequencing, this is referring to, when you collect objects for Transport, you must do it from Bottom to top.
For better understanding on sequencing for transport, refer to this doco:-
and this is on Step-By-Step how to collect transport:-

Hi Sachin,
Go to SE03,
Select Transport Organizer Tool -> Search for Objects in Request/Tasks.
In Object Selection section, give the following paramerts
R3TR IOBJ <InfoObject Name>
Then in Request/ task Selection, Check Task status Modified (Since you have not transported yet).
You will get to know the TR in which the object resides.

Hi Sachin,
you can check your TR's in se09. Also you and goto transport connections in rsa1 and then capture your infoObject again. it will give TR if any this object has been captured.
