Shyam,

Why don't you want to use Text Elements? The only way on BEx is text elements. Add the text elements and delete off the ones that you don't want. Save the workbook and they will remain.

    Cheers

    Hi!

    welcome to SDN.

Hi you can display the text in Bex by changing the property of the charecterstic to display in the query designer.

in qwuery designed ..select propertiey in the context menu and change the display as property

    hope it helps

    hai

thanks for u reply, but the problem was not that,(may be i mistyped the question,)

i linked a workbook with a query through RRI. when i give some input in the workbook, iam getting the result,

when i right clicked on one of the result cell and choose goto to that particular query, it is workin, but i want the discriptions of the free charactersticsin the resulting query.

    here is the example

    company code

    conuntry of dest.

    order date

    invoice number 12345

here i selected the particular invoice number form the workbook result.(right click on the invoice number then selected goto in the contextmenu)

make some help for me in solving this

      Hi,

In the second query(to which you are jumping from work book) select 'Key and text' as dispay property for those free characterstics you want have both key and text.

Let me know whether your problem is solved or not with this.
