APD runtime vs BEx

Dear Experts

I use a BEx query in an APD and it seems to run much much longer than if I run it directly from BEx Analyzer.

Same query, same selections.

I like to confirm if this observation is true.

Also, is using conditions in the query increasing the runtime?

I have a simple condition which is based on all characteristics and it selects values not equal to zero.

Hi,

Yeah, I have also observed couple of times our APDs runs for longer times than usual.

You need to check job log thoroughly to get any clues. Please check the definition of your APD and try to debug when you execute the APD. Generate the report in RSRT.
