Datawindow BUG in Powerbuilder .NET (12.5.1 4953)

Hi ,

I have created a wcf service in Powerbuilder .NET (12.5.1 build 4953).

If I want to modify a datawindow , for example add a column or modify the datatype Powerbuilder .NET crashes.

In other words I cannot modify an existing Datawindow. Only create a new one.

Will Sybase release a fix for this Huge BUG ?

thank you

4015 is the build number for the 12.5.1 MR. Apparently you're on an EBF. Have you tried backing off to the MR?

EBFs aren't quite as thou roughly tested, and you're best sticking with the lastest MR unless there's something in the EBF that you can't live without.

    Hi Zacharias,

I feel your pain. I remember having this problem when PB.net first came out. I don't have the problem anymore. It may be because I keep my PB development separate (different VM) from my VS development. That may be a coincidence but like I said I haven't had any problems since. You may want to create a very basic sample project illustrating the problem and give that to tech support with instructions on how to break it. That may lead to a faster resolution.

    hth,

    Mark

    btw I'm using v12.5.1.4015

This appears to be fixed in 12.5.2, build 5006

What I've discovered, if you go directly to the Column Specifications and try to add a column, PB does crash. However, if you first hit the Data Source Icon on the menu bar, then add the column, it does not, and the column can be added. PB 12.5.2. Build 5609? (I'm away from that computer, whatever was released in Feb '14. )
