BDC in 4.7

Hi,

Recently we upgraded to a 4.7 system from a 4ob system, earlier in BDC we use to use the functions 'WS_FILENAME_GET', and 'WS_UPLOAD','BDC_OPEN_GROUP', and 'BDC_CLOSE_GROUP'. Now in the 4.7 system we have some subroutines opendataset, closedataset etc. Could you explain how BDC works in the 4.7 system?
