Hello Experts,
I am following SAP Best practices to configure GLM Environment to print Labels. Now i am in process of installing WWI server.
Doubt: We have to download the WWI setup separately from SAP Marketplace or Installing SAP GUI setup(720) will install WWI by default.
Please suggest.
Thanks
Prabaharan.A
Hi Prabaharan,
You have to download the WWI setup separately.
There is a SAP Best Practice, EH&S Basics (850) help.sap.com/bp.../850_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE.doc
To solve possible problems there is a lot of sap notes:
513330 - WWI License key for generation server
549858 - EH&S WWI Word template paths and macro security
568302 - Current version of EH&S WWI and EH&S
1293379 - EH&S WWI Supporting bar codes
There is a note with an attached file - EHS_WWI_Cookbook.

JCD

Hi Prabaharan,
Downloading WWI setup is not a big deal. It can be done in no time by taking help of your Basis/Administration support. they can choose the correct version of wwi.
focus on how to config the wwi in system.
find the below wwi config guide -
https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012003146900000030242010E/EHS_WWI_Cookbook_EN.pdf
And also some of the threads, useful to you -
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1257593
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1682842
http://scn.sap.com/thread/319123
you have to schedule the batch jobs, after wwi setup - to generate the documents.
