Optimizer to consider Maximum Duration at location

Hi All,

We have a requirement to make the optimizer consider the Hard pick date constraint. But optimizer seems to club multiple FUs into single FOR, to make them single FOR(Though Pick dates FU are far apart) to make it cost effective.

But our requirement is to make the Pick date hard and not to club them.

We had an option in TM 6, TM7 to create a maximum duration at location in order to avoid this situation, now we tried for searching that option but seems it is not there with TM81 release.

Any work around here would be appreciated or the place where we can find field maximum time at location would be helpful.

Hi All,

We handled this by having an Condition with Location and wait times as parameter.

Reading the condition in the Pre-Processing BAdI of the optimizer, we passed it into the *_MAX_VISIT parameter the BAdI.

It certainly solved our situation for now.
