SAP Sourcing 9.0 registration in SLD

Hi experts!

I installed a SAP Sourcing 9.0 on SAP Netweaver 7.3 AS Java and then I add three parameters to system parameters according SAP Sourcing 9.0 Installation Guide.:

1. system.sld_data_supplier.url = http://bi.inlinegroup.ru:51000/sld/ds

2. system.sld_data_supplier.username = [SLDUser]

3. system.sld_data_supplier.password = [SLDPassword]

After restarting SAP Sourcing system instance my sap.com/E-Sourcing-Server application is hangs with status "starting"... and can't gets up...

May be someone faced same problem?

How I can change or delete theese 3 parameters from "system parameters" now? (I can't use SAP Sourcing interface now... ) and may be you can give me advice .. how to solve this problem..

In Log Viewer I see next log entry now:

TrexException - couldn't get Trex configuration for index. Message: Class: com.sap.aii.af.service.trex.TrexException : TrexException in Method: TrexManager: getTrexConfiguration(). Couldn't get Trex configuration for index. Message: Class: com.sap.aii.af.service.trex.TrexException : SLDException in Method: Util: getIndex(). Couldn't get the SLD instance name. Therefore the index ID couldn't be inititialized. - Message: Failed to initialize ExchangeProfile properties. Reason: Unable to read configuration data (ExchangeProfile/aii.properties); To-String: com.sap.aii.af.lib.sld.SLDException: Failed to initialize ExchangeProfile properties. Reason: Unable to read configuration data (ExchangeProfile/aii.properties).

Hi,

I'm not sure the above error is related to sourcing but may indicate the SLD itself may have some connectivity issues?  Can you find the application logs for SAP Sourcing and send the log with the latest startup attempt to us?

Gary

Hello,

I have looked into this further and suspect there might be a problem with these 3 properties.  I can provide you some SQL that can be run directly against the database. But we do not post such items in this forum. You can either email me directly gary.boutin@sap.com or prefferably submit a ticket indicating I will provide you the SQL and procedure.  Once you apply this SQL, you will need a complete "cold start" of the system.  It would also be helpful if you provided a reasonably detailed landscape diagram showing enough detail to describe the servers, number of app instances and where the sourcing database resides.

Regards,

Gary

Hello again!

Yeah, your script has helped me to start SAP Sourcing again. I deleted three %sld% properties from database. But what can I do with registration of SAP Sourcing in SLD now? Can I do it in another way?

Hello,

Thanks for letting me know.  For now, do not try to configure SLD.  We are processing an internal message in CSS to correct the documentation and the code problem.  Once the software is patched and the documentation is updated, you should be able to continue with SLD config.  I'm guessing there will be a SAPNote describing the problem and the solution.  If you don't see one over the next few weeks please feel free to email me again and check up and that.

Gary

Dear Gary,

has there been SAPNote released for Sourcing SLD registration? Please provide any available update. Should we still avoid SLD configuring for Sorucing?

Thanks,

Venelin
