Problem with xml-Forms and Quickpoll

Hello,

we have a problem with xml-Forms and Quickpoll.

We had a News-form on our very first page without pictures and everything worked fine.

Now we have a News-iView with pictures (a modified SAP_App_news form) on our first page. Since we have the modified SAP-Form we have problems to load this news. Our KM-Content is very slow too. When we try to write a new message with the xml-form and save we get an error: IO-Exception: Lock timeout exceeded for , wait time = 60000

After we click on the ok button we get the next error: 404 A servlet with class is not found! (see attachment)

If we restart the server everything works fine for maybe the next 30 minutes.

The Quickpoll is also not shown when we have the "News-Problem".

Does anybody know what´s wrong with our system (EP6.0 NW04 SPS09 Patch3)?

Thanks,

Susanne

Hello,

well the news form and the quickpoll are populated at the KM Content. But I´m a little bit confused because all the SAP APP* Forms are populated too. I´ve never populated them. Do you know what that means? I used a SAP APP Demo Form for my news form - renamed an populated it. Is it possible that all the other SAP APP* forms are coming with this and that´s why we have problems? I don´t want to delete them all because it is our productive system and I don´t know what the result will be.

Kind regards,

Susanne

Hi Susanne

You can restrict the appearence of the forms in the folders.

Go to sys admin->sys config->km->content management ->form based publishing->form availability...

In the global settings you can generally make all forms available or not to all folders in the KM.

In the folder settings you can restrict or allow forms in to the corresponding folders.

You make the global availability to none and in the folder settings include the form name you created. Then only that form will be appearing inside that folder.

Hi Geogi,

yes right - I did this before with some other forms. But this is not really my problem.

I still have the problem from my first post. I don´t know - it seems like we have a connection problem between EP and the KMContent.

Thanks,

Susanne
