How to enable "Approval feature"


Hi everybody,

I would like to create a new folder and enable workflow there. I have reviewed some posts but I'm confused anyway =(

Could anybody give me a general check list? I have specific doubts like:

1. Where should I create this new folder ? (in which ep menu & in which physical folder)

2. What kind of permissions/service permissions should I enable ? I would like that everybody could access the folder (read), but if they want to upload some info then I need the approval feature.

3. Which roles do I need to assign ?
