help with group sum on crystal-report 2010

hi

i have field QTY (string) on my DataBase.

i insert Group to my crystal-report 2010 that need to sum this QTY.

because its string (i cant change it to int or double) i cant see the SUM Definition (only count..max...)

how i can sum the QTY field in the Group section  in my report ?

Hi Eitan,

Create a formula as below

tonumber(Stringfield)

Place it on details section and Right click on formula field and select Insert --> summery
