Lead time / notification when employee separates

Hi,

I have a client demand where they need a mechnism where in an "Notification"  should go to supervisors and/or concernd person in recruiting whenever any employee resigns from the organisation. For Ex, Notice period is 2 months. Employee resigns on 1st of June. On the 1st of June itself, a mail should go to supervisors and concern persons so that they can start processing for hiring/replacement finding. This way, the notification helps the HR and supervisor to utilize the two months's time(notice period of the employee resigned) to find a repacement. Is this possible by standard customization or need custom/"Z" program for the same? Please help me.

Hi Rose ,

You can  run the leaver action for future if a person resigns , you can then use the mail trigger functionality to trigger a  mail for the leaver action .  Check  out the following config points . You might need to research a bit .

IMG >personnel Management >Personal Administration>Customizing Procedures>Setting Up Mail Connection for Infotype Changes.

Trigerring for future dates?.. I am not in favour of the same. the requirement is that the recruitment activities should be started as soon as the employee resigns, for the same there should scenario of vacancy and its position should be visible in the recruitment module so that they can start searching the candidate using existing position and its relationships details (jobs, tasks, etc)etc,.. Are these functionalities already present in SAP?
