Copy of Infostructure S060

1. Has anyone ever created a copy of infostructure S060? What steps were followed? Please note that this infostructure and its update routine are quite different from the rest of the infostructures and their autogenerated update routines.

2. I have tried to create a copy, but I am facing issues while creating infostructure and the update rules. Especially, while adding key figure Condition Base Value (MCKONV-KAWRT) and Scale Base Value(MCKONV_KSTBS), I get the following error:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Entry missing in table TMC6 for unit KOEIN

Message no. M2108

Diagnosis

The system attempts to determine the unit of the source field for field
KAWRT. The data element KOEIN was defined as part of this process.
The system now searches table TMC6 for this data element in order to
define the two-character units ID. However, no appropriate entry could
be found.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only way I know to update this table is using tcode MCZ1. However it creates a custom unit Y* in this table, which is not what I need. How do I maintain the missing entry KOEIN in this table? Or is there a way to counter this error that I might be missing?

Thanks,

RKG

Hi Friend,        Goto SM30 and enter the table name as TMC6 and select field maintenance dialog and select the table and maintain the entries there and confirm. Hope this will help you.. Regards, Kundan Vishwakarma

Hello Rahul,

I have tried this before. TMC6 cannot be maintained through SM30. Moreover, table TMC24 also requires this entry, which again can't be maintained through SM30. The only way to update these tables is through MCZ1 or MCZ2 transactions. However, it will not let me maintain standard unit KOEIN. Is there any other way?

Thanks,
RKG
